Vice President for Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer
Scott Dieterich is the Vice President for Finance and Administration, and Chief Financial Officer. His primary duties include financial and capital investment planning, management of campus operations and information technology strategy. Dieterich has more than 20 years of business technology and executive management experience focusing on process efficiency and the development of software applications supporting all aspects of business operations, finance and asset management.
Prior to working in higher education, Dieterich was the chief information officer for the Long Island Rail Road, the largest commuter railroad in the United States. He was charged with developing innovation and cost containment practices that advanced the mission of the organization, while transforming its services and improving operation quality and efficiency. Dieterich spent five years in the U.S. Coast Guard and is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in the management of information systems.
