The School of Maritime Education and Training houses the departments and programs associated with marine transportation, maritime technology, naval science, professional mariner training, and licensing and Cadet shipping.
Academic Departments
Marine Transportation
The Department of Marine Transportation offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Marine Transportation and Marine Operations (Deck).
Maritime Technology & Operations
The Maritime Technology & Operations department offers common courses to both deck and engine license students. The department also offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Marine Operations (Engine) and two Associate Degree programs, deck or limited engine license.
Naval Science
The Naval Science department oversees all of the Naval Science courses offered at the College, as well as the College’s NROTC Unit and commissioning programs for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.
