Maritime College Student Union
The Student Union is the heart of the campus. Located right off the quad, it is the place students come to meet one another, hang out, and participate in many of the activities on campus. The Student Union is new for 2023 and is expected to become the place to find your friends. The Union is a dedicated space for our students. There is plenty of space to sit and relax between classes and a kitchenette to prepare quick meals. A game room is outfitted with multiple TVs to play on various gaming consoles, pool, and ping-pong. Our student groups can reserve two conference rooms for meetings and a multiple-purpose room for large meetings and special events.
Student Government Association, Maritime Activities and Programs, and the Coordinator for Campus Activities will have offices in the Student Union. Students are encouraged to stop by and see how to get involved on campus.
The Ship Store will have a new location with much more space. It will still carry the books you need for class, along with your favorite Maritime College merch, drinks, and snacks. The Tailor Shop will return to the space for needed alterations on your uniforms. The mailroom is also located in this space.
Please get in touch with John Celentani at (718) 409-5185, to reserve space in the Student Union. You can also find In the Resources below the link for Student Union Room Reservation Form this is the preferred method.
