Incoming Student's Scholarship Application
Through the admissions process, incoming students are automatically considered for merit scholarships. These scholarships are awarded at the time of admission and do not require a supplemental application. Merit scholarships for incoming students are competitive and awarded to top applicants. Meeting minimum academic requirements does not guarantee earning a scholarship.
Out-of-State Tuition Match
Maritime matches the in-state tuition of the flagship public universities in eight states to make it easier for students from around the country to get a great education in New York. If you live in one of the states listed below, we will match the tuition and fees of your state's flagship in the form of a Maritime Scholarship. Currently, Maritime's tuition and fees costs are higher than those of the three flagship universities highlighted below. Therefore, students from these states entering the Fall semester (beginning with 2023) will be offered a scholarship to cover the difference. After this scholarship, students can attend our college as out-of-state students and pay the same tuition and fee rate as if they attend the flagship college in their own state.
