SUNY Maritime's 55-acre campus is near the Throgs Neck Bridge, where the East River meets the Long Island Sound.
Many parts of the campus provide panoramic views of coastal Connecticut, the north shore of Long Island and Manhattan.
The campus combines the historic and the modern, with classrooms, offices, a museum and a $7 million simulation center in the 1850s-era Fort Schuyler; a variety of other buildings and the training ship Empire State VI.
Group tours have reached capacity for the spring 2018 semester. Information regarding summer and fall group tours will be available soon.
