There are four ways to pay your tuition and fees at SUNY Maritime College.

  • One-time online payment

  • Check or credit card

About Online Payments

Maritime College uses a service called QuikPay for online payments. This secure system updates your account in real time.

Set up an Authorized Payer

If the student is not paying the bill themselves, they must be the ones to set up an authorized payer on their behalf. Students may have up to five authorized payers, and only need to set each user up once throughout their time at Maritime. Each payer can only see their own payments and information.

To set up an authorized payer, the student must sign into QuikPay. The payer will be notified via email when they are able to access the system.

SUNY Maritime has partnered with Nelnet Business Solutions (QuikPAY) to let you pay over time, making college more affordable.

Payment methods

  • Automatic bank payment (ACH)
  • Credit card/debit card

Cost to Participate

  • $25 enrollment fee per semester (fall and spring)
  • No interest charged or cost for credit card use
  • $30 returned fee if a payment is returned
  • Payments are processed on the 5th of the month

Simple steps to enroll

  • Sign on to Maritime Self Service

Password info and Maritime user ID, which is your Maritime email address, are both received after new students make their deposit

  • Enter Student > Student Accounts > QuikPay link
  • Select Payment Plans

One-Time Online Payment

To pay your bill in full, the student or authorized payer should log into QuikPay and pay the bill using a credit card, debit card or bank account. You will see the payment posted in real time.


Check or Credit Card

Checks must be payable to SUNY Maritime College and include the student’s Maritime ID number in the memo line.

You may mail a check to the following address:

The college cannot confirm receipt of payments sent by mail.

To pay by credit card, please complete and return the credit card authorization form.

You may also pay in person using check, credit card or cash at the Enrollment Services office in Baylis Hall.

Please allow time for your payment to be received and processed. You may confirm receipt by viewing your account status in QuikPay.


Overseas Payments

International students may pay their bills using Flywire, a secure system that allows you to pay from any country or bank, usually in your home currency. You may track your payments there and save on bank fees and exchange rates.
