Professor Larry Howard, Global Business and Transportation, will lead the first faculty conversation of the semester at 3 PM in the Stephen B. Luce Library.

There is an interplay between beliefs and behaviors, such that people act in the world on their beliefs. As a result, the world, which consists of multiple factors and environmental layers, gives feedback in context. Understanding this interplay can help us understand the nature of morality as a subjective concept, and ethics as an objective concept, and ultimately lead to evaluating ides, separating the good from the bad.

The event will last an hour and refreshments will be served.
