Accounts & E-Mail
The Department of Information Technology has made student email user names available in the online registration system. Log in with you ID# and PIN. Click on the personal info button on the left hand side. Your email address and demographic information will be displayed. Please use the information below to aquire your password.
The Department of Information Technology scheme for student email accounts is the following:
Firstnamefirstthreelettersoflastname.Incomingyear(two digit year)
Example: “Walter Smith” (enrolled with Maritime College in the fall of 2009) will be: waltersmi.09@sunymaritime.edu
Password convention uses the following format; if Walter Smith has a social security number of 123-45-6789 his password would be:
WS-6789
*Your first and last initial is case sensitive and must be entered in upper case. “ws6789” or "ws-6789" would fail if entered.
***All students are highly encouraged to use their Maritime e-mail accounts as faculty and staff will use your Maritime e-mail account to distribute notifications and assignments***
Mailboxes are limited to 100MB of storage space.
