International Transportation Management Application Information
Accepting applications for fall 2018 semester and spring 2018 semester (non-regimental students only).

- Statement of purpose
- Official transcripts from all institutions attended, including at least one from an accredited instituion demonstrating completion of a bachelor's degree
Decisions are based on an applicant's academic performance, communication skills, professional accomplishments, and other relevant skills and abilities. Successful applicants generally have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0.
A 3.0 GPA is required to remain in the program. Successful students have a working knowledge in economics, financial management, marketing and math including calculus, statistics and operations research. Students are strongly encouraged to achieve proficiency in these areas in advance.
Additional Requirements for International Students
International applicants should submit their applications as far in advance as possible to allow time to obtain visas. SUNY Maritime cannot guarantee visas will be granted.
- Minimum scores of 79 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS or at least two semesters of coursework (minimum 12 credit hours) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher at a regionally accredited institution, or a foreign institution where English is the official language of instruction.
- An official course-by-course evaluation of all transcripts from foreign institutions by WES or a NACES-accredited credential evaluator.
